Multi-Address Minimums

View as Markdown

CryptAPI can split a payment across up to 20 addresses. The more addresses you use, the higher the minimum transaction value.

The minimum is multiplied by this formula, where N is the number of output addresses:

text
1 + (N - 1) / 3

For example, with 2 addresses:

text
1 + (2 - 1) / 3 = 1.33

Multiply the minimum transaction value from our cryptocurrencies page by this number. For Bitcoin:

text
0.00008 * 1.33 = 0.0001064 BTC

If the share you send to one address is very small, say 1%, the transaction may fail on some blockchains because of the dust threshold (the smallest amount the blockchain can move). This is 546 satoshi for BTC and BCH, and 5460 litoshi for LTC.

The tables below use the minimums in force in October 2026. Minimums change, so always check the cryptocurrencies page for current values.
